Our story

TrustWise Care was started in Daytona Beach for a simple reason: families deciding on home care for an aging parent deserve a calmer, clearer experience than the one most of them get. The phone calls are stressful, the pricing is often opaque, and the legal differences between a nurse registry and a home health agency are almost never explained in plain English.

We built TrustWise to be the opposite of that — a locally owned Florida home-care company where a real person answers the phone, where the price is one flat hourly rate written on the homepage, and where every caregiver we refer has been carefully vetted before the first introduction.

Our standards

Every caregiver we refer carries the credentials Florida law requires — and the ones it doesn't, but we do.

• Level 2 AHCA-cleared background screening
• Florida CNA certificate or 40+ hours of approved HHA training
• Current CPR certification
• Communicable disease clearance
• Verified professional references

Our license

TrustWise Care LLC has completed the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration's application review for a nurse registry license and is now in the final stage: the state licensure survey (AHCA File #42965670).

We will not refer caregivers or begin serving clients until the license is issued. The moment it is, the license number will be published here and in the footer of every page — because you should always be able to confirm who you're working with.

How a Florida nurse registry actually works

A nurse registry is a Florida-licensed business that refers credentialed independent-contractor caregivers — like CNAs and Home Health Aides — to families who need non-medical care at home. Caregivers contract with the client directly. Under Florida law (F.S. 400.506), the registry is not permitted to manage or supervise day-to-day services, but is responsible for verifying that every caregiver we refer is properly credentialed, screened, and qualified.
