Overnight Care
An awake caregiver on duty through the night — for clients who wander, fall at night, or simply need reassurance after sundown.

Many families discover that their loved one is fine during the day but the nights are the hardest part. Overnight care places an awake caregiver in the home from evening through morning — typically 8 to 12 hours — to handle bathroom trips, prevent wandering, reposition for skin health, and quietly reassure a client who wakes confused.
What's included
- Awake, alert overnight caregiver — typically 8 PM to 8 AM, adjusted to fit your routine
- Bathroom and toileting assistance during the night
- Repositioning every 2 hours for bed-bound clients to prevent pressure injuries
- Wander prevention and gentle redirection back to bed
- Bedtime and morning routines (oral care, dressing, light breakfast)
- Quiet companionship for clients who experience nighttime anxiety or sundowning
- Detailed shift notes for the next caregiver or family member
